The scope of work for the C1 Priority Section includes the construction of earthwork, bridges, station buildings, retaining walls, and other miscellaneous works. With a completion period of 15 months, this section represents a critical component in realizing the HORC project's objectives of enhancing connectivity and infrastructure in the region.
The HORC project, with trains set to operate at a top speed of 160 kmph, aims to provide seamless connectivity through 17 stations along the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP/WPE) Expressway. Additionally, the project will facilitate interchange facilities with major radial routes, the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), logistic hubs, and the Delhi-SNB-Alwar RRTS Line.
Following KCC Buildcon's successful bid, a contract is expected to be awarded in the coming weeks, streamlining the project's progress. Meanwhile, tender notices for the remaining construction and systems work are pending, indicating further advancements on the horizon.
