Driving Progress: The Kanpur outer Ring Road Project

The Kanpur Ring Road is a significant infrastructure project – a 93.2 km, 6-lane access-controlled highway under the purview of NHAI in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

This ambitious project is set to be implemented in multiple phases, connecting seamlessly with the upcoming Lucknow – Kanpur Expressway.

Key Locations: The road's alignment will pass through essential areas such as Sachendi, Ramaipur, Rooma, Chakeri Airport, Trans Ganga City, and Mandhana, ensuring better connectivity.

Current Status: Land acquisition for Phase 1, starting at Chainage 0+000 and extending to Km. 22+500, commenced in September 2021. The foundation stone has yet to be laid.

Financial Overview: The estimated cost of this substantial project is Rs. 5,182 crore, and it is owned and managed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
